Ageing Better is a Programme comprising of 12 projects aimed at reducing social isolation of the over 50s on the Isle of Wight. The Ageing Better Programme is part of the National Ageing Better Big Lottery Fund Programme.
There is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Delivery Manager. This is a newly created post to enable the Programme Manager to focus on the strategic work of the Programme.
This is a 35 hours per week role and potentially open to a job share. Initially, the role will be a fixed term contract until 31/7/2018, with a possible extension until March 2020.
You will be working closely with the project delivery partners supporting them with day–to-day issues, monitoring progress against agreed outcomes and overseeing delivery level budgets. You will also manage the Ageing Better Administrator, Communications and Monitoring and Evaluation Officers and will deputise for the Programme Manager in their absence.
Essential experience for this role is:
- Project management including budget and monitoring and evaluation experience, preferably in the voluntary sector
- A proven record of stakeholder engagement
- Staff management experience.
The salary for this post will be up to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
